64th Grammy Awards has announced the nomination for 2022

The Board of Trustees Chair Tammy Hurt announced this year’s nominees on Nov. 23 live stream with help from several stars, including BTS, Billie Eilish, Gayle King,  Carly Pearce. Jon Batiste received the most nominations with 11 nods after that  Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, and H.E.R., with eight nominations.

Everyone had their opinions and give their analysis. Some people are extremely happy and some are not. Every single artist or music creator who poured their heart and soul into music this year could be celebrated as it will highlight those in our 86 categories and then we’ll celebrate together as a community. The 64th annual Grammy Awards will air on Jan’22

Fans were disappointed that Normani wasn’t nominated for her hit Wild Side featuring Cardi B. Normani definitely deserved her nominations for the wild side, one follower tweeted. Another fan said that Normani’s Wild Side was one of the best r&b songs this year. Fans were excited to see Halsey get some recognition from the Recording Academy. Even Halsey seemed surprised by the nomination. Really wasn’t expecting that! they tweeted.

Fans were thrilled to see on the nominations list especially the Gomez fan. Selena Gomez finally received her first Grammy nomination. Yes yes so so happy about this. The wait is finally over.

Jon Batiste is a talented musician and we are delighted to learn that the 35-year-old artist scored not one, not two but 11 nods, making him the most-nominated artist of the night.

Even after releasing three No. 1 singles this year, global pop sensation BTS received only one nomination for the 2022 Grammy Awards. The South Korean boy band received a sole nomination for pop duo/group performance. BTS was excluded from the coveted record and song of the year categories, even though Butter spent a whopping 10 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart. BTS Permission to Dance also peaked at No. 1 and did the collective’s popular collaboration with Coldplay, My Universe. BTS landed a nomination last year in the pop duo/group performance category for the chart-topping 2020 track Dynamite.

BTS became the first Asian group to win the show’s top honor: artist of the year. BTS also nabbed the prize for the pop group, while Butter scored the award for pop songs. BTS’ RM said that using the nickname for their legions of fans while accepting the AMA for artist of the year. This whole thing is a miracle. BTS will kick off in highly anticipated shows at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium. Their concerts on Nov. 27, Nov. 28, Dec. 1, and Dec. 2 will mark the first time the superstars have performed before a full crowd of fans since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
