A new smartwatch from Facebook reportedly to hit the market

The social media giant Facebook is reportedly venturing into the market of fitness watches. The reports suggest that they are working closely with android to design a new fitness watch that will be loaded with finances and health features.

The Information earlier reported that the android based fitness watch will hit the market in the coming year.

Google wear OS is the go-to fitness OS for android based watches, we still don’t have confirmation on whether the proposed watch will use this or come up with a new OS.

The watch may allow its user to send messages over the watch and is expected to be fully optimized for Facebook use.

The Tech industry is not something new for Facebook as it has already come up with Oculus virtual reality headsets and portable video chat devices.

The project Aria is yet again an interesting update from the Facebook camp. The project is likely to tie up with Ray-Ban sunglasses to release a new wearable that has integrated augmented reality functionalities.

“We’ve been connecting people through audio and video technologies for many years and are always exploring new ways to improve that experience for people,”
