India’s two leading prepaid telecom providers, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone-Idea are set to increase their tariffs for prepaid plans from 20% to 25% from November 26 this year.
Today, November 25, is the last day you can recharge your Airtel or Vodafone-Idea numbers with the old prepaid prices. You can save anywhere between Rs 20 to Rs 500 by recharging today, depending on the plan you go for.
Airtel’s new prepaid plan prices now start at Rs 99 instead of the Rs 79 plan. Prices of unlimited voice bundles have been hiked with the new tariff starting at Rs 17 (instead of Rs 149), which goes up to Rs 2,999 (instead of Rs 2,498). The price of data top-up has also seen a hike.

Reliance Jio price has not increased yet
Reliance Jio is yet to see a hike in its prepaid prices, but we cannot completely rule out the possibility of the telecom operator not increasing its tariffs. Jio may also announce a price hike in the coming weeks.
