Anant Ambani got engaged to Radhika Merchant in a temple in Rajasthan

Anant Ambani, the son of businessman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, proposed to Radhika Merchant, on Thursday in Rajasthan, an official said. The famous Shrinathji Temple in Nath Dwara, the desert state, held the “roka” (betrothal) ritual on Thursday.

The CEO of Encore Healthcare, Viren Merchant, and Shaila Merchant are the parents of Radhika Merchant. Indian classical dancer Radhika completed her training and gave her debut on-stage “arangetram” in June of this year.

The “arangetram” ceremony for Radhika was hosted by Mukesh and Nita Ambani at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai.

Radhika is a New York University alumna, whilst Anant Ambani attended Brown University in the US. Anant is the head of Reliance Industries Ltd.’s energy division, while Radhika sits on the board of directors for Encore Healthcare as a director.

The revelation on Thursday confirms officially that Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will wed, putting an end to conjecture and rumors that have been widespread for a while as a result of the Ambani parents’ adoring attendance at Radhika Merchant’s events and vice versa.

Many pictures from the ceremony have been shared online. Anant dressed for the event in a blue kurta and an embellished blazer, while Radhika wore a stunning saree.

The young couple “spent the day at the temple seeking Lord Shrinathji’s blessings for their approaching union,” according to a business release released by Reliance Industries Limited.

According to reports, priests and members of Radhika’s and Ambani’s families attended the ceremony to give them blessings.
