The iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max are the newest additions to Apple’s iPhone family. The Apple Watch Ultra and Series 8 were introduced, along with the Apple Watch SE 2 and AirPods Pro (2nd Gen).
Just before the start of the CoVD19 pandemic, Apple held its first-ever live event, which had just ended. New iPhones, Apple Watches, and AirPods Pro were introduced at Apple’s September 12 event dubbed “Far Out” (2nd Gen). In addition to the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Plus, the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max are the four new iPhone models. The Apple Watch Series 8 and the Apple Watch SE were introduced, as well as the Apple Watch Ultra, the company’s first ultra-premium model. Apple also introduced the second generation of its AirPods headphones.

The new 12-megapixel (MP) primary camera sensor with an f/1.5 aperture and sensor-based stabilization can be found in the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. You can also get a larger 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. The new TrueDepth front camera in the iPhone 14 is 12 megapixels and has an aperture of f/1.9. Even the front-facing camera can use Autofocus. In India, the lowest-priced iPhone 14 model costs Rs 79,900.
Apple’s latest iPhones, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, feature a new dot notch design that incorporates the cutout—which the company dubs the “Dynamic Island”—into the user interface. The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max display sizes are 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively. New for the iPhone 14 Pro models is a Super Retina XDR display with a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits. The ProMotion screen’s LTPO tech lets it smoothly transition between 1 and 120 frames per second for smoother animation.

A new 4nm A16 Bionic chip with 16 billion transistors drives the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. The primary camera sensor in the iPhone 14 Pro is now a 48-megapixel quad-pixel version. Quad-pixel sensor with a 24mm focal length and f/1.78 aperture. The ultrawide and telephoto cameras on these models have been upgraded to allow for more precise shots in low light. The ‘Pro’ models of the iPhone 14 include the same 12 MP Autofocus front camera as the regular iPhone 14. The base model of the iPhone 14 Pro in India will begin at Rs 1,29,900.
With the iPhone 14, Apple also released three new versions of the Apple Watch. The Series 8 Apple Watch includes a temperature sensor tailored to women’s wellness needs. The second main feature is crash detection, which is intended to find a fatal car accident. Apple also refreshed the entry-level Apple Watch SE, which is now 20 percent faster than the previous generation, alongside the Watch Series 8. Apple Watch Series 8 starts at Rs 45,900 in India, while the entry-level Watch SE can be had for as little as Rs 29,900.
The Apple Watch Ultra is the first of its kind, a premium rugged smartwatch designed for adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts. The Watch Ultra’s sapphire crystal case safeguards its large retina display’s 2000 nit brightness level. Like other high-end Garmin sports watches, the Watch Ultra features a new multi-band GPS with L5 frequency.
The Watch Ultra’s WR rating for water resistance has been increased by a factor of two to a maximum of WR100. And it’s approved for use by scuba divers to depths of up to 40 meters according to European Standard EN 13319. Battery life can last up to 60 hours, and the third button can be programmed to launch apps or perform other actions with a single tap. All the functions of the Apple Watch Series 8 and earlier models are also included. Apple’s Ultra Watch can be purchased for a minimum of Rs 89,900.
