On the first day of the 2023 edition of the Auto Expo, Maruti Suzuki, MG Motor, and Hyundai are the stars of the show. The electric SUV prototype from Suzuki made its premiere, while MG finally revealed the price of its planned Hector SUV. A great start in a star-studded ceremony on Wednesday, Hyundai introduced the Ioniq 5 EV with Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh Khan struck his signature pose while looking sharp in a black suit. The EV is available for purchase for Rs 44.95 lakh.
The celebrity, who is presently Hyundai’s brand ambassador, has a more than a 25-year working relationship with the South Korean company. Shah Rukh Khan discussed how Hyundai originally approached him about endorsing Santro in an interview from 2015.
Shah Rukh Khan surprised fans by singing the lyrics to the popular song “Tujhe Dekha Toh yeh Jana Sanam” from the blockbuster film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge during the launch of the brand-new Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV in India.
Hyundai Ioniq5 EV: Features
• The Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric SUV is powered by a 72.6 kWh battery pack that has a maximum output of 214 horsepower and a maximum torque of 350 Nm.
• It has a driving range of 631 kilometers on a single charge and offers fast charging, going from 0 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes using a 350 kW DC charger.
• The cutting-edge Vehicle to Load (V2L) technology from Hyundai can supply up to 3.6 kW of electricity to run external electrical devices and gadgets like bicycles, e-scooters, camping equipment, etc.
