In the Bigg Boss 16 house, nominations have become open, and new surprises are in place for the contestants. Shalin Bhanot nominating Sumbul Touqeer for elimination after their friendship struck a bad patch is not surprising. In a recent advertisement, Shalin casually mentioned Sumbul’s name for the future elimination, to which she responded sarcastically.
Bigg Boss welcomes viewers to the nomination round in the new video, saying, “Nomination round me aap sabka swagat hain.” “Sumbul ka naam nomination kar raha hoon” is what Shalin says to Bigg Boss. Additionally, he notes that Sumbul’s father recently come out against Shalin.
Other people who will vote against Sajid Khan and Shiv Thakare in the nomination round include Archana Gautam, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, and Soundarya Sharma. This week appears to have seen two eliminations.
In the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Touqeer Hasan Khan, the father of Sumbul, Tina Datta, and Shalin Bhanot, was invited to the programme for his remarks about the participants. He had warned Sumbul to avoid Tina and Shalin, referring to them as “kaminey log” (scoundrels). He instructed her daughter to demonstrate Tina and Shalin’s “aukaat” (value).

After Bigg Boss revealed Sumbul and her dad’s discussion to everyone in the house, Sumbul’s father made an appearance during the weekend special hosted by Salman Khan. While Touqeer Khan’s statements were criticised by Tina and Shalin’s parents, Salman also corrected him.
The phrase “remote control se chalane ki koshish kar rahe hain” Salman said to Sumbul’s father, “You want to manage this show from a remote control, you are free to express what you choose to about your own daughter, but you have no right to comment about the worth of others’ children. Aap apne bache ke bare mein bol sakte hain. While things might soon go better between Tina and Sumbul, things aren’t the same between Shalin and Sumbul.
