Black Adam Reportedly Added New Post Credit Scenes With DC Universe, Tap To Know More

Following Warner Bros. Discovery’s recently publicised decision to shelve the Batgirl movie rather than release it in theatres or on the HBO Max streaming service, the future of the live-action DC multiverse is at an interesting turning point.

Many people have wondered what will ultimately happen to other projects in the works after hearing comments from Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav about efforts to create a ten-year plan for DC films.

The Hollywood Reporter broke down the forthcoming seasons of several DC films and TV shows on Tuesday, and they also disclosed a significant piece of information about the impending Black Adam movie. In June, Black Adam underwent a test screening that “included a new post-credits scene providing a new element to Johnson’s status in the DC Universe,” according to their reporting.

Even after years of rumours and conjecture regarding a crossover between Johnson’s Black Adam and Henry Cavill’s Superman, it’s uncertain at this moment what that post-credits sequence may finally be.

It will be intriguing to see if the post-credits scene has anything to do with The Suicide Squad area of DC’s film canon, as Viola Davis has announced that she will reprise her role as Amanda Waller.
Jaume Collett-Serra, who also directed Jungle Cruise, will be directing Black Adam, which also stars Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Noah Centineo, as Atom Smasher, and Pierce Brosnan.
