Dabur apologised for hurting religious sentiments after it’s a new lesbian advertisement

Dabur is one of the companies that work with PAN India to provide full natural products from chyavanprash in winters to Dabur oils for babies. But recently Dabur is catching so much heat of controversy for their new advertisement on karwachauth, the advertisement was about two lesbians performing the rituals for each other but some of the religious folks found this advertisement offensive and alleged Dabur with hurting religious sentiments. To be more precise the ad was filmed by one of the chains of Dabur Products, Fem which offers grooming products for women in the ad two ladies were practising the karwachauth ritual. But as mentioned some of the people raised objections the which made Dabur apologize and drop the idea to televised it.

Dabur said in a statement on social media, “Dabur and Fem as a brand strive for diversity, inclusion and equality, and we proudly support these values in our organisation and within our communities. Our campaigns too reflect the same. We understand that not everyone will agree with our stance, and we respect their right to hold a different point of view. Our intention is not to offend any beliefs, customs and traditions, religious or otherwise. If we have hurt the sentiments of any individual or group, it was unintentional, and we apologise. We are also humbled by everyone who have showered their support for the brand and the campaign.”
