David Warner Jumps to Celebrate his Double ton

During the MCG Test against South Africa, Australia’s starting quarterback David Warner injured himself while jumping to celebrate his double century. Warner’s joy is shown in a video that Cricket Australia posted with the caption, “David Warner scores a pair of centuries! But there is a price for his jump!” Warner was injured after experiencing cramps “after and throughout” his celebration, according to Cricket Australia.

In addition to the wait, Warner has had a difficult year due to concerns about his spot in the team amid his declining form and the incident around the overturn of his captaincy ban. Warner, though, put all of his concerns aside on Tuesday to put on a record-breaking performance against South Africa, which also happened to be his 100th Test match for Australia. He scored a record double-century. His innings were cut short when he limped back to the dugout in pain following his jubilant celebration of the hit.
