Recently, Deepika Padukone through her Instagram account put up a post announcing that she would team up with the STX films to bring her next project to audiences around the globe. STX is basically a mini-major American entertainment and media company. It would be a cross-cultural romantic comedy movie. She will be producing films through her own banner Ka Productions. Fogelson called Deepika, one of the biggest stars to come from India. He further added that after the phenomenal success of Deepika in the Eros International Films, they are excited to build a romantic comedy with her. He also mentioned that they believe the project would allow them to tap into the spirit, voice, characters and vibrant settings of India and New York in ways that made crazy rich Asians feel so authentic and fresh.
Deepika also said that a production house aims to bring back meaningful stories with the global appeal and upcoming project aligned with that thought. She also shares her excitement to collaborate with STX films and Temple Hill Production who shares Ka’s ambition and creative vision and looks forward to bringing impactful and dynamic cross-culture stories to the world. Apart from it, Deepika would be seen in Shakun Batra’s next movie with Sidharth Chaturvedi and Ananya Pandey. She would also be seen in ‘The Intern’ remake starring Amitabh Bachchan. Fans are crazy about it and Deepika is receiving an overwhelming response for her post which received more than 2,000 comments and more than 4 lakh likes in just 2 hours.
