Elon Musk Congratulates SpaceX For Executing 3 Flawless Launches In 2 Days!

3 Flawless Launches from SpaceX in 2 day

A recent tweet from Elon Musk states, “Congrats to the SpaceX Falcon team for executing 3 flawless launches in 2 days!” The good news for NASA is that yesterday’s SpaceX launch put the Dragon spacecraft in the correct orbit to rendezvous with the International Space Station (ISS), but the launch was far from flawless. SpaceX completed its ninth bulk Starlink launch on June 13, a mission that included a rideshare customer for the first time. SpaceX just completed a remarkable spaceflight tripleheader.

A two-stage Falcon 9 rocket launched from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Sunday, June 19 at 12:27 am, carrying a communications satellite for the Louisiana-based company Globalstar to orbit. Starlink is SpaceX’s constellation of internet satellites. The company has now launched more than 2,700 Starlink craft into orbit, and the number will continue to increase far into the future; the next-generation version of the network could eventually consist of up to 30,000 satellites.

It was the third mission for SpaceX in just over 36 hours. The company launched 53 of its Starlink internet satellites from NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre. Musk has repeatedly said that rapid and complete reuse is the key breakthrough that will allow humanity to settle Mars and achieve a variety of other ambitious spaceflight feats.
