Elon Musk’s tweet fired up as a hot controversial topic for Twitter folks

The world’s richest man Elon Musk is becoming a topic for debate for the common man on the idea of whether he pays a tax or not. “Much is made lately of unrealized gains being a means of tax avoidance, so I propose selling 10% of my Tesla stock. Do you support this?” Posted by Elon Musk on the 7th of November and people voted for yes. The controversy has staterd to brew since then.

Peter Schiff, An economist and global strategist said “From a diversification and valuation perspective the sale makes a lot of sense. The fact that you’ll have to pay taxes on the proceeds however is not a net benefit to society. The public would be better served by you wisely investing that money rather than the government wasting it.”

In the contradiction, a fellow being on Twitter said “How do you suggest we pay for things like defence, veterans, roads, bridges, schools, education, hospitals, parks, airports, social security, agriculture, etc… if people don’t pay their fair share of taxes. You don’t think we should have any of this in America?”

The chain of debate and tweets is so long because everyone has something to say, but a point to note here is no official statement is made by Elon Musk on any of these tweets, nor he reacted on any of them. And the council of America or Elon Musk himself has not updated about him paying taxes, although this is quite confidential but big news like this always breaks the silence and pops out.
