SonyLIV India’s new upcoming television series ‘Rocket Boys’ is premiering on 4th Feb. The story of the series is based on the lives of Dr Vikram Sarabhai and Dr Homi J Bhabha. Both are great scientists of India Dr Vikram Sarabhai is known as the father of the Indian space program.
The storyline runs with the friendship between Vikram Sarabhai and Homi Bhabha, it includes their college days and how they both met their relationships their ideas and concept about science their knowledge and creativity, everything is shown in the series as per the trailer released two days ago.
The story is inspiring as they both learn and try to achieve their goals together at the beginning. The role of Vikram Sarabhai is played by Ishwak Singh and Jim Sarbh played the role of Homi J Bhabha. Both actors have given their best in this series, by their mesmerising acting.
The series shows the politics in the late ’90s, many years after the independence. Both Homi Bhabha and Vikram as friends grow together but later found different paths. Homi J Bhabha was into radioactive subjects and wanted to build nuclear bombs for the country. Whereas Vikram Sarabhai wanted to build a space shuttle for the country. At the time when all this happened, Jawaharlal Nehru was the Prime Minister of India and India was going through a battle with China. A glimpse of all the situations is shown in the series as well as the trailer building curiosity in the mind of their viewers.
The trailer at the end includes a scene in which Dr A P J Abdul Kalam sir builds excitement. The series is premiering on 4th Feb 2022 on SonyLIV.
