Ultaviolette which is a Bengaluru based startup has started its testing of the highly anticipated offering – F777. It is said to be the first bike with electric powertrain completey made in India. The production of the vehicle was supposed to start in October 2020 but the delays happenned due to the ongoing pandemic. The motorcycle has been primarily aimed at bike enthusiasts and spots a typical middleweight bike styling with a forward and aggressive riding posture. Inspired by a fighter jet, F77 is powered by an electric motor generating 34 PS of power and 450 Nm of torque at wheels. This motor draws its energy from a three-piece modular battery pack with a storage capacity of 4.2 kWh. The company claims that the electric bike can attain a single-charge range of 150 km.
Not only the bike can attain a top speed of 147 kmph but also can go from 0-60 kmph in just a meagre 2.9 seconds and also 0-100 in 7.5 seconds. Eco, Sport and Insane are the three riding modes offered in the bike. It has a fair part of technology as a smartphone with smart features like smartphone connectivity, Bluetooth, NFC, LTE, GPS, USB charging port and many more. It will officially launch in mid 2021 due to the delays in 2020. It’s price will range around 3 lakh rupees.
