The Designer, Satya Paul passed away in Coimbatore on Wednesday, 6th January. He recently suffered a stroke and was hospitalised before he moved to Isha Yoga Center which has been his home since 2015.
His son, Puneet Nanda clarified, that he had a stroke on 2nd December and while he was recovering, he asked to get discharged because he wanted to peacefully fly away and after they got the clearance from the doctor, he came back to the Isha Yoga Centre.
Mr. Puneet Nanda added that with being a successful designer and entrepreneur, Satya Paul was very interested in yoga and philosophy. He started attending talks given by J. Krishnamurti, later Osho and when Osho left in 1990, he discovered Sadhguru in 2007. He started the path of Yoga and moved to the yoga centre.
The news was also shared through Twitter by Designer Divyam Mehta, who is a close relative to the family and the condolences started pouring in. Sadhguru also shared his condolences and blessings.
