Recently Google invested in Jio. Alphabet Inc Google has paid rupees 33,737 crores to Reliance industries limited digital subsidiary Jio platform limited, joining the list of global investors such as Facebook which has infused capital in the Mukesh Ambani company. Within this transaction, Google now holds a 7.73 % stake in Jio platforms.


After its investment in Reliance Jio, American internet joint alphabet Inc Google could invest in Airtel. Search giant Google is in talks to make a substantial investment in Bharti Airtel. Google has been in advanced stages of negotiations with Airtel for nearly one year and now a substantially large deal is potentially happening.


Global technology giant Google was in talks to buy a 5 percent stake in Vodafone idea, owned by Vodafone plc of the UK and Aditya Birla Group. For a 5 percent stake, Google would have to sell out 110 million dollars. It was in the news that Google would invest in Vodafone but later on, rumor’s were put to rest when the company itself claimed that they got no such proposal from Google and that the news is a hoax.
