Hasura raised over $100 million and enters the Unicorn Club!

GraphQL developer platform Hasura becomes a member of the Unicorn club after raising fund over $100 million from Greenoaks Capital.

Hasura HQ is a developer of GraphQL that has secured a fund of $100 million in the funding round from Greenoaks with the participation from existing investors Nexus Venture Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Vertex Ventures.

A company with a valuation of over a billion US dollars is called a unicorn and Hasura has done it. The company plans to use the funding to accelerate research and development and expand go-to-market activities globally for the company’s ‘GraphQL Engine’ and free usage of the platform. Hasura has been downloaded more than 400 million times since 2018, the year in which the company was established. The series round bought $136.5 million to Hasura making it enter the Unicorn club.

Hasura’s range of data access solutions helps applications to organise and speed up product delivery by instantly connecting data and services with GraphQL APIs. ‘GraphQL’ is an open-source data query and manipulation language for Application Programming Interface (API).
