Food-delivery app Zomato debuted a new commercial campaign with Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant ahead of the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Pant is heard stating, “I’m still in the game, boss, and I’m coming to play,” in the advertisement.
Due to the injuries, he got in his automobile accident in December 2022, Pant has been ruled out of the 2019 IPL season. In the incident, which happened in Uttarakhand close to Roorkee,
ZPL, or Zomato Premier League, was the topic of the advertisement with Pant. It is an in-app gamification project that enables users to pick match winners and receive rewards based on how accurately they do so.
Pant adds in the video, “Cricket and food are two things that I cannot live without. Since a few months ago, I haven’t been able to play cricket, but the doctor has advised me to eat right. I, therefore, had a lot of wholesome food at home and always ordered from Zomato whenever my teammates came over. So, gradually, everyone became preoccupied with practice as the coming cricket season arrived. At that point, I thought, “If everyone else is playing, why not me?”
He said “I am still in the game boss, I am coming to play,”
