Ind vs Eng: Virat Kohli said to be tested positive for Covid after returning from Maldives, Check details now!!

Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli was rested during the home series of India vs South Africa and the former skipper decided to spend some time off the game, he went on a Maldives trip with his wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika. Soon after the trip, Virat joined the team and they flew to England to play the rescheduled test match. However, reports say that Virat Kohli was infected with Covid-19 after returning to India.

Soon after reaching Mumbai, Kohli and Anushka were also papped outside a hospital which makes the complete scenario even more obscure and uncertain. There has been no official confirmation from BCCI yet but it is said that the batsmen quickly recovered from the infection, and then flew to England. Kohli was also seen practicing intensely in nets and several fans also clicked photos with him. He was also seen giving a motivational talk to the team players ahead of the warm-up match yesterday and this comes as a relief to fans and confirms his availability.

Meanwhile, Ashwin has also been tested positive for Covid and he will be missing the match owing to this reason. He is now in quarantine and is recovering from the infection.

Indian Team is touring England to play the test match which was postponed due to the Covid cases in the Indian squad. The rescheduled match is on 1st July and India has the lead of 2-1. It is hoped that the squad is in a good physical and mental condition.
