India vs New Zealand 2nd ODI: An outstanding start by team India

Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, won the toss and decided to bowl first against New Zealand in Raipur.

India got off to an incredible start with a spectacular delivery from Mohammed Shami in the first over only. The ball crashed directly into the stumps, resulting in a rare wicket maiden at the very beginning of the match, and Finn Allen was taken off guard by the delivery. After the first over, New Zealand was 0/1. In a very short time, Mohammed Shami got two more wickets of Daryl Mitchell and Michael Bracewell.

The Indian pacers put up an impressive fast-bowling performance against the New Zealand batsmen, making it difficult for them to get going.

Hardik Pandya and Washington Sundar also joined with 2 wickets each of Mitchell Santner, Devon Conway, Glenn Phillips, and Lockie Ferguson. The batsmen have looked helpless against the pace attack.

In the 34th over New Zealand get all out as Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur, and Kuldeep Yadav took 1 wickets each in their overs.

Now India has to chase 109 runs in 50 overs.
