Indian Cricket Team after completing their tour of England is now moving towards its bilateral series with West Indies. The England series consisted of 1 Re-scheduled Test from 2021, 3 T20s and 3 ODIs. The Test was won by England which led to the series ending in a draw. The T20 series went in India’s favor as India won the series by 2-1 and defeated the No 1 T20 team, Acc to ICC Ranking. The ODI Series was also won by Indian in the series decider which was also a nail biter.
India is touring West Indies for a 3 match ODI series and a 5 match T20 series which started on 22nd July and will go on till 7th August. BCCI excluded all the senior players of the Indian team like Virat Kohli , Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah. Shikhar Dhawan was named the 7th Captain of India in 2022. The first ODI of the series was a nail biter and Indian had finally won the match by just 1 run. While the second ODI, was no short of a thriller as India won by 2 wicket with the help of Axar Patel who Scored 64 runs of just 35 balls and helped India reach the target.
In the 3rd ODI, India will be eyeing a whitewash while the West Indies team will try to avoid the whitewash. The same teams are predicted for the 3rd ODI for both the teams. Fans want Arshdeep to get a chance and there is a possibility that Arshdeep gets a chance in place of Siraj. The match will start at 7 pm IST on 27th July in the same ground, Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad.
