The 2023 Budget session was being held on February 1, presented by the Finance Minister of India. As soon as the announcement was made, various social media platforms were filled with reactions; both positive and negative from the users. Harsh Goenka, Chairperson of the RPG Group tweeted on his handle about the session and wrote,

Journalist Abhijit Majumder, among his various tweets on Budget 2023 said,

Machines to clean drains and septic tanks. All towns and cities to be transformed from manhole to machine-hole mode. Enormously important step to end the hazard and indignity of manual scavenging and cleaning. Little steps that make a great Budget. #Budget2023

The Executive Editor of Times Group, Supriya Shrinate took to Twitter and wrote,

“Is this a Budget presented today? It is a grocery store shopkeeper’s Bill — A decent Budget should disclose what are the Objectives. If it is GDP growth rate then disclose the level of investment and rate of return; the priorities, the economic strategy, &resource mobilisation.”
