On January 24, 2023, the 95th Oscar nominations were formally revealed. Beginning on January 11 and ending on January 17, 2023, nominees for the Oscars were cast. India distinguished itself by earning seats in three separate categories on the official list of Oscar nominees in significant categories. RRR was recognized with a nomination for Best Original Song. It will now compete in the same category as the Hollywood movie Tell It All like A Woman starring Jacqueline Fernandez.
The Hollywood film Tell It All Like A Woman and SS Rajamouli’s RRR are both up for awards in the same category. The Best Original Song award will be up for grabs. Tell It Like A Woman’s song Applause made the list despite RRR’s Naatu Naatu song being nominated.
