The Indian Cricket Team is now in England for their Test, ODI and T20 Series there. There will be 1 Test which is a rescheduled Test from 2021 which was abandoned due to Covid-19. There will be 3 ODI and 3 T20s in the series. The Test is in Birmingham and it is a big match for both the teams. England has been winning the Pataudi Series Trophy since 2011.

In The Test Series in 2021, 4 matches took place successfully and India won 2 of them and England won 1 while the one remaining was drawn. The 5th and Final Test which is rescheduled from last year has started. The match is being played in Birmingham and the fans could not be  more excited for the match as it is a historic match and it is very important for both the teams to win the match.

On Day 1, we saw the heroics of Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja on the field as they built up a partnership of  over 200 runs and saved the team from an embarrassing collapse. The score at the end of Day 1 was 338/7 with Shami and Jadeja batting on the crease. On Day 2, Jadeja and Shami gave a great start and Shami gave up his wicket in a few overs and soon after Jadeja reached his century he went back to the pavillion. Soon Shami lost his wicket too and then came in Bumrah and Siraj.

Bumrah is the captain of the team and he inspite of being a bowler has carried the team forward with the bat. India was 375/9 when Jadeja gave up his wicket and India hoped to somehow reach to 400. In the 84th Over, Broad was given the ball and he was hit for  35 runs in an over by Jasprit Bumrah which is the most runs in an over in Test Cricket History. Broad bowled 8 balls which included a no ball and a wide. Bumrah hit 4 fours and 2 sixes in the over  and left no ball unsmashed.

Bumrah also has taken 2 wickets of the England batsman and not the Rain has stopped the play.
