Jimmy Neesham has led the New Zealand team in finals of ICC T20 World Cup

Yesterday the first T20 semi-finals took place in Abu Dhabi and the Kiwis won the match in style by 5 wickets. We got to see both the sides were intense and the different ones. Neesham played an important role what New Zealand needed the most. The match seemed to be going out of hands as the Kiwis were 107 for 4 when Neesham walked in with his side needing 60 runs in 29 balls. The left-hander took Chris Jordan apart in the 17th over. He scored 27 off just 11 balls and took all the pressure off Mitchell. His eyes are all set on the finals and the team won the match at 19th over at the very last moment. The happiness of the team is seen through this.

For many say that it was revenge. Daryl Mitchell, who deservingly hit the winning runs, was in control of his celebrations. But the Sunday is yet to come and find the occasion worth celebrating. A stunning win for Kane Williamson & Co, who were so close to lifting their first World Cup trophy, albeit in a different format, in 2019 at Lord’s. They won the toss and put England in to bat first and strike wickets as much as they can to get a closer target.

The teams have worked hard and now all eyes are on the 14 November finals where New Zealand will compete with the team that wins today’s match in Dubai that is between Pakistan and Australia.
