Kohli Posts His Workout Video, Writes “There’s No Substitute”

Virat Kohli, current skipper of the Indian National team, is not only famous for his game but also for his humble nature, love for animals, and being fit. But to reach such a position and to maintain it, one should be consistent. Virat Kohli also gives it all to maintain his fitness. He would definitely pass for being a fitness freak. Recently, he posted his workout video on his social media with the caption “there is literally no substitute to hard work”.


Also, he is very strict in maintaining his workout schedule. He is regular with his gym following a strict 5-day workout with two days rest. His workout usually includes a powerful combination of weights and cardio exercises which helps Kohli in maintaining the stamina of his body, increasing his strength which also helps him tone his lower body muscles. Besides the workout and exercises, he also focuses on his diet a lot. He usually prefers food which is rich in protein.

Kohli says he drinks enough water to keep him hydrated throughout the day. He prefers eggs and cheese in his breakfast. Usually, he takes green tea with lemon in the morning and in lunch, he prefers having grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and green vegetables. For dinner he restricts himself to seafood only. Many youth follow him as an ideal and Virat also keeps them motivated by regularly posting workout videos and diet plans on his social media platforms along with motivational tips and quotes. Kohli puts in a lot of effort to increase his strength endurance.
