Market Today: NIFTY and Sensex Picked Up on the Last Moment

National stock indices NSE NIFTY 50 and BSE Sensex recovered at the last moment today. The NSE Nifty and BSE Sensex indices in India fluctuated between positive and negative territory today. The Nifty closed at 18,191, while the Sensex ended at 61,133, a 0.3% increase. The Bank Nifty index also recovered from an intraday drop of over 0.5% to close at 43,252, up 762 points from its low for the day. The Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 remained stable, while the Nifty PSU Bank and Nifty Private Bank sectors rose by 0.7% and 1.03%, respectively, with ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and SBI achieving the gains.

Airtel, the telecommunication company had a good year, with its plans to invest between INR 27,000 crore and INR 28,000 crore (approximately USD 3.7 billion to USD 3.9 billion) in its telecommunications network with a focus on deploying 5G technology in India. Bharti Airtel, an Indian telecommunications company, has deployed 3,293 base stations for 5G as of November 26, according to data from the Indian telecommunications ministry. It also informed that it would not charge a premium for its 5G services.
