Mercedes sends a team of experts from Hong Kong to investigate Cyrus Mistry’s accident

Mercedes Benz has sent a team of officials from Hong Kong to Mumbai to inspect and investigate the car of Cyrus Mistry which crashed last week and killed former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry. The team of experts have been called to detect what went wrong during the accident. Cyrus Mistry and his friend Jahangir Pandole were killed on September 4 . The Mercedes Benz SUV hit a divider on road in Palghar district neighbouring Mumbai. A police officer said,” They will start the inspection work on Tuesday in the presence of police officers. The car involved in the road accident is in Thane at the Mercedes Benz unit. The team will investigate and submit the report. According to the reports, the final report will be forwarded to the police by the car company after a couple of days.

The report claims that the brakes were applied five seconds before its crash and the prima facie investigation suggested speeding and error of judgment by the driver. Two other car occupants were Anahita Pandole who was driving the car and her husband Darius Pandole who suffered injuries. They were admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai.
