MG Motor is gearing up to launch 2021 Astor SUV, its fourth product in India after Hector, Hector Plus, Gloster and ZS EV.
MG is a British automotive marque founded by Cecil Kimber in the 1920s, and M.G. Car Company Limited was the British sports car manufacturer that made the marque famous. MG Motor offers a wide range of latest luxury SUV cars in India. With the inauguration of its first manufacturing facility in September 2017 in Halol, Gujarat, MG is now fully operational in India. And now MG Motors are launching 4th Car in India Astor SUV. The car is launching in next month October.
₹10.00 – 17.00 Lakhs is the estimated price of the Vehicle.
Astor will be the first model in the company’s global portfolio to debut with the industry-first personal AI assistant system. This technology is powered by i-Smart Hub and it is capable of depicting human-like emotions, voices, and giving out detailed information via Wikipedia.
MG has put a lot of efforts in the interiors.
The SUV’s cabin feels upmarket with generous use of soft-touch materials, brushed aluminum accents that contrast the interior shade and a chunky flat bottom steering wheel. The dashboard is similar to the ZS EV but it houses a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system which will feature a Jio e-SIM for connected car features, and also include a digital key that you can install on your phone. With this you can completely operate the Astor without requiring the actual key fob.
The exterior is also similar to ZS EV however it’s design is based on internation model, there are some India specific tweaks, like the grille design. This hexagonal ‘Celestial’ grille looks quite neat and attractive.
