
A startup is a company or project undertaken by an entrepreneur to seek, develop and validate a scalable business model. Growing India has more number of startups developing these days. Startups are the backbone of the Indian economy. As 16th of January is celebrated as ‘National Startup Day’ in India.
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi took his Twitter account to talk about the ‘National Startup Day’. Modi calls startups the backbone of new India. Modi interacted with more than 150 startups on 15th Jan as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and declared that January 16th will be celebrated as India’s National Startup Day.
On 15th Jan, Modi posted his video of 3.03 minutes, talking about new India with a developing economy with the help of startups. He talks about startup India innovation week, celebrating the successful past and encouraging future successes. He addresses this decade as India’s decade in which the government is making changes to encourage innovations, entrepreneurship and startups. The encouragement which is provided by the government has three aims, which are-
- Reducing silos- To make innovation and entrepreneurship free from undergoing the procedures of the government.
- Institutionalising innovations- To promote Innovation. To establish an institutional mechanism.
- Assisting innovators- To handhold the young economy to young innovators.
Programs like Startup India and Standup India will always be part of the journey, to end different types of problems, to make taxes more simple, to make the procedure of excess to credit an easy job, to budget thousands of crores of rupees if governments funding, will show the strength of India- says Modi. Modi encouraged the startups and tweeted-“This is India’s Techade. our focus is on innovation, enterprise and startUps. It includes reducing silos, institutionalising innovations and assisting innovators”. Modi encouraged Indian youths to think innovatively and increase India’s economy.
Although India is moving forward in most of the fields it needs to do more efforts in many matters such as unemployment, poverty and more. I hope this Startup idea brings an end to the problems in many of the fields and help India to develop.
