“No sale took place.” Elon Musk deny any sale of his Twitter shares

Tesla CEO and the new board member of Twitter deny any sale of his shares in the micro-blogging site. Responding to a Twitter user Elon Musk said. “No sale took place. Initial share number filed was incorrect.”

The comment comes as a response to an online rumor of him selling his shares on Twitter. An active user and frequent critic of the micro-blogging site, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO on April 5 joined Twitter’s board after acquiring 9.2 per cent stake in the company for $3 billion. Musk will serve as a Class II director, with the term expiring at Twitter’s 2024 annual meeting of stockholders.
