On August 15, Ola Electric is expected to unveil its first electric vehicle in India. Bhavish Aggarwal, the company’s founder and CEO, teased a new product launch on the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence on Twitter. While he did not divulge the product’s name, it is expected that the firm will launch its first electric vehicle soon. Ola Electric has been hyping its four-wheeled electric vehicle since a long time.
The corporation will also reveal its big future ambitions in the event. Aggarwal tweeted, “Super excited to announce a new product this 15th August! Will also share more about our BIG future plans!!” He further added that the inaugural ceremony would be livestreamed online. Time and link to watch the broadcast will be shared soon.
Ola’s first electric vehicle will most likely be a low-slung, broad vehicle with a coupe-like roofline. It is said to be a 4-door sedan with a lengthy battery set and has been teased as the “sportiest car ever.” In India, the firm presently sells two electric scooters: the Ola S1 and the Ola S1 Pro.
