Palace On Wheels to begin its run from February offering 30% discount for domestic travellers

Palace on Wheels brings a special offer as the Indian travelers are getting more used to travelling and living along with the pandemic. Not only for the domestic tourists it is also an attraction for foreign tourists. But due to the pandemic the foreign travellers cannot travel in it. It usually begins its run in September but wasn’t able to do the same last year.

Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation’s one of the official said that there is a plan to run the train from February only for the domestic tourists. The train will run for a period of 3 months, also the domestic travellers can avail a huge discount on the fares.

According to the Chairman and Managing Director of RTDC, Alok Gupta, Palace on Wheels now has two itineraries for domestic tourists. Both itineraries come with a 30 percent discount when compared to previous rates. But it will only start the journey if there will be minimum of 27 bookings. There is a three-day, and a four-day itinerary available for Palace on Wheels. The 3 day itinerary will travel you through Delhi, Jaipur, Swai Madopur, Agra and then back to Delhi.  The four-day trip will also include Udaipur after Jaipur.

A super deluxe cabin can be booked for INR 94,248 after a 30 percent discount per couple, INR 52,360 per person in a single occupancy seat; and INR 34,034 per person for a double occupancy seat per person. In April, when it is off-season, you pay INR 70,686 after a 30 percent discount per couple; INR 42,840 per person for a single occupancy seat, and INR 26,180 per person for a double occupancy seat.
