Passengers of Golden Chariot to get free air tickets from IRCTC

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is providing free air tickets for tourists on luxury package in the Golden Chariot which is the first of its kind. The complimentary air tickets on domestic sector to and from for Bengaluru are only for the passengers who opt Golden Chariot which is a luxury train, which was said by the IRCTC regional manager MPS Raghav. Two itineraries have been released i.e. departing from Bengaluru which covers destinations like Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Goa and then returning to Bengaluru. The tourists who choose the higher and more expensive packages will be given free air tickets.

“We will be flexible in booking the ticket dates which will be according to the demand of the passenger. It can be done in two or three days in advance or even two to three days after the Golden Chariot tour is completed. The free air fare will be between Chandigarh-Bengaluru-Chandigarh,” said by the tourism and marketing chief officer of IRCTC Shubham Arya. It is a luxury train which is epitome of luxury with beauty and par excellence. They provide a mixture of tourism which includes destinations to historical, architectural, mystique and scenic areas. The guest will travel in royal style in coaches named after the dynasties, which ruled South India for centuries.

The train has now recently been upgraded with new and additional features which includes newly upholstered furniture, elegant draperies, renovated rooms and bathrooms, crockery and cutlery of reputed international brands and an exquisite range of linen. Smart TVs are provided for wholesome entertainment which also includes subscriptions of OTT platforms named Netflix, Amazon, Hotstar etc. have been installed. CCTVs and the fire alarm system have been added for more safety. Modern workout machines have been fitted for fitness enthusiasts and one can also enjoy onboard spa therapies.
