Shamshera has finally made it to OTT, nearly a month after its theatrical release. The Karan Malhotra directorial starring Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role has eventually dropped on Amazon Prime Video. The film also features Sanjay Dutt as the main antagonist and Vaani Kapoor as the female lead. On Prime Video, Shamshera is streaming in Hindi and dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu languages.
While making the announcement, the official Instagram page of Amazon Prime Video India shared the poster on 19th August with a caption stating, “A larger than life cinematic wonder that’ll keep you on your toes throughout. #ShamsheraOnPrime, watch now #RanbirKapoor @_vaanikapoor_ @duttsanjay @ronitboseroy @saurabhshuklafilms @karanmalhotra21 @yrf.”
The movie did not do big on the box office and some think that it was because of the Boycott trends and some thought it was because the movie was not that good, but now many of those people have been silenced as since the OTT premiere of the movie on Amazon Prime Video, the film is receiving a lot of positive reviews and fans are trending ‘Shamshera’ on twitter since the past two days.
