Realme to drops Buds Air 2 TWS, CEO reveals on Twitter

Madhav Seth the CEO of Realme India announced the release of the new truly wireless (TWS) earbuds. Seth wrote on Twitter that the release is expected to be in Q1 2021. 

We now know that the new TWS has active noise cancellation and is fully optimized for the new app released by the company- Realme Link companion. Buds Air 2 is expected to give out similar quality to the Buds Air Pro which is the flagship TWS for the company.

The form factor of the upcoming TWS resembles that of Apple Air pods. The current flagship cost around Rs 4000. 

The company has a reputation of having TWS that connects easily with mobile devices and the next in the line is also expected to deliver the same. The case of the buds has a button, pressing which connects with the mobile device. Once connected the TWS can automatically sense the device when around, company official says. 

The company also included double tap and swipe gestures for accepting calls, accessing voice assistants, switching between music, and more. The company also promises an auto ear-detection capability, that pauses the media when the TWS is taken out of the ear.
