On Saturday RCB announced they’ll be playing against KKR on 20 September in Blue Jersey as a tribute to the honorable frontline warriors fighting against the corona virus in the Country. The blue jersey was inspired by the PPE kit. According to the team the jersey worn by them will be auctioned and the money will be donated to help fund vaccination drives in the underprivileged communities in India.
It was the 2nd match after IPL 2021 was resumed, on the match day it was announced by the sponsors of RCB that they’ll donate to the frontline warriors for every boundry scored by the players of the team and also for every wicket taken by the team players.
It was a great initiative by the team to help the frontline warriors and to fund the vaccination drive and by doing this the team is also contributing to a good case for the country.
