The opening batter for the Punjab Kings, Prabhsimran Singh, received praise from former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar for his spectacular 60-run strike against the Rajasthan Royals on Thursday at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.
Tendulkar stated on his Twitter account, “I haven’t watched much of Prabhsimran’s batting. I saw it yesterday and thought it was good. His bat stroke and backlift were fluid. His bat was making an excellent sound that was enjoyable to hear. In the competition, he may be a very dangerous batsman.
The batter from Punjab responded to Tendulkar by saying, “Thank you so much, Sachin sir, for your motivational comments. It means a lot to me that a legend like you would provide me such encouragement. In the remaining IPL games, I’ll keep working hard and give it my all.
Thank you so much @sachin_rt sir for your inspiring words. Such an encouragement from a legend like you means a lot to me. I will continue to work hard and give my best in the remaining games of this IPL. https://t.co/f5KlqsLD6D
