Samsung Galaxy S22, the next flagship series from the South Korean brand is expected to launch in early 2022. The launch dates are not declared yet but a report by SamMobile says that the company can launch the S22 series by second week of February 2022.
The chip shortage is believed to be the mystery that the Galaxy S21 FE has still not been released. Thus, the delay could also mean that the company is buying some more room for the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G. The company is might be in a need of time to secure enough chips to ensure that supply can meet demand for its new flagships.
As per some hypothesis it is assumed that the new Galaxy S22 series may come up with a new camera setup, particularly a P-shaped camera at the back. Thus, it is postulated that it is going to be a new 108MP camera sensor from the company, created in partnership with camera maker Olympus.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is also a future flagship smartphone of the Galaxy Note series. It is supposed that the S22 series can support the brand’s S-Pen series, and also features a small cavity to carry the S-Pen.
Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech reported that the Galaxy S22 pre-orders will occur in February, and also the flagship won’t debut in January.
The S22 can start at $799 for the base model, with the S22 Ultra going in the $1,000-plus range depending on the configuration. And the S22 Plus is falling somewhere in between.
