Shane Watson turns 41, check out his top IPL knocks on his Birthday!!!

Former Australian cricketer, Shane Watson turns 41 today. Watson is the finest limited-overs all-rounder of the modern era and is popularly called the white shark of cricket. Even in IPL, he has created a phenomenal impact. He played for three teams, Rajasthan Royals, Royal challengers Bangalore, and Chennai Super Kings, he was also roped in by Delhi Capitals this year as an assistant coach. On the occasion of his birthday, check out some of his top IPL knocks here:

  • SRH vs CSK 2018 finals:  Shane Watson scored 117 runs and remained not out and made sure CSK wins the title comfortably. With the strike rate of 205 in such a high-pressure knock, Watson proved why he is one of the finest players. The player of the match was also given to him.
  • RR vs CSK 2013 : This was Watson’s maiden century in the IPL. He smashed 101 runs off 61 balls, against CSK. Although RR lost the match, this knock was one to remember.
  • RR vs KKR 2015: Watson was a lone warrior in this game and he scored a century again with a strike rate of 176.27 and helped RR put 199 runs on board, KKR gave a tough fight but lost at the end and Watson was given man of the match award.
  • RR vs KXIP 2008: It was the inaugural season of IPL and Watson scored 76 runs in his sixth match of the season. Not just this, he also scored 472 runs with an average of nearly 47 in the season, RR lifted the trophy
  • RR vs CSK 2018:  This was the year he played for CSK the first time and he played a ruthless knock of 106 runs against his former team, RR. CSK comfortably won this match because of his sensational knock.

Watson has retired now and is serving the game by playing the role of assistant coach for Delhi Capitals.
