A large bottle of perfume, adorned with thousands of diamonds and other precious gems and pearls, is on sale for US$1.295 million (AED 4.752 million). It is a ultra luxurious fragrance released by the Spirit of Dubai perfumes and is believed to be the most expensive perfume in the world. SHUMUKH in Arab means “deserving the highest”, the unisex perfume sits in a bottle adorned with 3,571 diamonds totalling of 38.55 carats which include exclusive prices of gold, diamonds, silver, topaz and can further be customized as per the buyer’s wish. Measurement of the bottle is 1.97 meters tall with its pedestal and is cutting in display at the Dubai Mall through March 30. The Chairman and master perfumer at Nabeel Perfumes Group of Companies named Asghar Adam Ali along with other artisans from Switzerland, Italy and France toiled effortlessly for 3 years and 494 trials to formulate the perfume according to the Spirti of Dubai.
SHUMUKH currently holds two Guinness World Records, including the most diamonds set on a perfume bottle, and the tallest remote-controlled fragrance spray product.The bottle comes with gold or silver remote controls, to operate the automated perfume spray, and to rotate or adjust the height of the pedestal. It is a three litre perfume consisting of natural ingredients sourced from around world, “culminating in a scent with notes of amber, sandalwood, musk, rare pure Indian Agarwood, pure Turkish rose, patchouli Ylang-Ylang, and frankincense that are estimated to last on the skin for more than 12 hours,” the company.
