Sketches of ŠKODA Kushaq suggest a new rival for Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos

Czech automobile manufacturer Skoda has announced that it will be introducing the new SUV – Kushaq in India on 18 March. According to the current market situation, the new SUV is expected to rival the likes of Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta.

The official premiere of the Skoda Kushaq will take place on 18 March 2021.

The company recently released the concept sketches of the new Kushaq SUV and suggest that the concept was inspired by the ŠKODA Vision concept car.

As part of the Indian 2.0 product campaign, this is among the four models ŠKODA and Volswagen brand that will be manufactured in India.

According to the sketches, the Kushaq has an elongated roof spoiler and rugged rear diffuser in the bumper. The crystalline structured taillights which have traditionally been the trademark of the SKODA are coupled with block capitals on the tailgate.

MQB-A0-IN technology is employed to manufacture these models in the Indian product 2.0 campaign.

The company also reported that the new SUV will adhere to all the strict safety and emission requirements in India with maintaining almost 95% localization level.

 Skoda AuTechnology Centre in Pune is currently testing and perfecting the newly engineered automobile.
