Spotify listens as Adele removes the album play shuffle button

Spotify has come up with the best possible update. Spotify has removed the shuffle button as a default option on the app. Albums are made with much more feelings than we know, It’s more of a story put in the form of a string of songs. Now, Every album needs to be played in the order the artist intended. Thanks to Adele, after she asked that the songs on her new album be played in the order she intended.

“This was the only request I had in our ever changing industry!” the Grammy-winning singer tweeted on Saturday. “We don’t create albums with so much care and thought into our track listing for no reason. Our art tells a story and our stories should be listened to as we intended.”

Spotify responded to Adele’s tweet with “Anything for you.”

The shuffle button no longer appears on the album page as the default play button Now the default green button will play the album in order, but you can still play the album on shuffle by switching to shuffle on your currently playing screen. It’s was a widely requested change on Spotify forums for a while. 30, Adele’s first album in six years, was released on Spotify on Friday.
