Spotify to release BTS’s new album ‘Proof’ with #SpotifyPurpleU campaign

K-Pop band BTS all set to release it’s newest album “Proof” On 10th of June.

BTS, the well-known K-Pop band will release their new album on Spotify. The new anthology album ‘Proof’ will come out on June 10. BTS holds the best selling album in South Korea with Map of the soul:7 and now it is all set to launch a new album on Spotify. Spotify has launched #SpotifyPurpleU, an immersive microsite experience, to build excitement among new and longtime listeners. The site is also giving fans the chance to create personalized #MyBTSProof share cards based on their favorite songs which they can share on social media too. The site will be available in 8 languages:- English, Spanish, Japanese, Korea, Thai, Portugese, Bahasa and Arabic.

Spotify is turning purple just in time to launch BTS’S new album! Spotify’s social media accounts has turned purple for celebration. Spotify will also release a short film which will look at the band’s era since 2013.

BTS has over 25.8 billion streams on Spotify. They hold up to 50 million followers worldwide and 35 million monthly listeners. The most streaming countries are USA, Philippines, Japan, Indonesia, Mexico, Brazil, India, UK, Canada, Germany.  BTS’s ‘Dynamite’  was the 1st K-Pop track to hit 1 billion streams.

BTS band found in 2010, is a South Korean boy band also known as Bangtan Boys. The band first debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment. This band is a group of 7 boys consisting of members Jungkook, RM, V, Suga, Jin, Jimin and J-Hope. It was originally a hip-hop group and now they have evovled into wide range of genres.
