TATA IPL 2022: List of all CSK captains as Ravindra Jadeja take charge for Chennai Super Kings

With Ravindra Jadeja taking over as captain after MS Dhoni, a new chapter for four-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings will begin. Jadeja is an all-rounder cricketer who has been with team CSK for ten years. During the 2008 U/19 world cup, Jadeja served as vice-captain and actively took a total of ten wickets in six matches as the team won. He has an incredible career graph, having played in over 350 matches. This recently appointed CSK captain was first picked by Rajasthan Royals, who defeated CSK in the finals in 2008, and due to his spectacular performance in 2009, players such as Warne dubbed him as “Rockstar.”

Even though Jadeja has shown himself over the years and has played multiple IPLs, the intensity of pressure will be different this season, and the management of all these new emotions, and whether emotions will drive him or he will drive through those emotions, will have the spectators on the edge of their seats, from “role model for youngsters” to “architects of the win,” Gavaskar has labelled him all.

Not only does Jadeja have a lot of nicknames, but he’s also an idol. As the first Indian cricketer to score three first-class hundreds at the age of 23, he cemented his place in cricket history early on. It takes a lot of guts to take on the responsibility that Jadeja has chosen to take on following Dhoni, who is one of the best cricketers of all time, but given his track record, the spectators can look forward to this new era for CSK under Jadeja. It will be fascinating to watch what new records Jadeja will bring to the table this IPL season, given his previous centuries and records. not to mention if he’ll be able to reclaim titles like man of the match or not? The talent of this cricketer is making the spectators more and more interested in the performance of this new CSK skipper, and how many cheers and wickets will he eventually be able to pull off following last year’s hushed Covid 19 stadium.

His style is to swing his bat to celebrate on the ground, and we’ll see if we can witness this superhero swing his bat as a captain.

The Chennai Super Kings have been on top for years, including the previous year, and as the captain of such an intriguing team, Jadeja has a difficult task ahead of him. Don’t miss CSK’s match against KKR tonight at 7:30 p.m. to see where this new dawn will lead CSK.
