Punjab Kings will face Gujarat Titans in the 15th match of the TATA IPL 2022. This encounter will take place for the first time in the IPL as Gujarat is a new team and they haven’t played against the Punjab Kings until now. Gujarat Titans have won all of the three matches they have played and Punjab Kings have won 2 out of the 3 matches they have played. Gujarat is at the 4th position aand Punjab Kings is at the 5th position and both have 4 points in their name.
The toss has been won by Gujarat Titans and they have opted to bowl first. Hardik said that the dew factor has forced him to take this decision and also its his team’s first game at the D Y Patil Stadium and so he wants to see how the pitch reacts. Mayank also wanted to bowl first but unfortunately he lost the toss and will have to bat first.
The fans are excited to see Hardik Pandya bowl again. Also Johnny Bairstow is making his debut for the Punjab Kings. Mayank Agarwal will be trying to find his lost form as in 3 matches he has scored just 37 runs.
