TATA IPL 2022: Surya Kumar Yadav of the Mumbai Indians is returning to the field sooner than planned following his recovery

Surya Kumar Yadav of the Mumbai Indians suffered a hairline fracture during a T20 match against the West Indies. The batsman was not fully recovered and missed the first match against the Delhi Capitals. He was receiving treatment at the National Cricket Academy. This Mumbai Indians super star was one of the four players retained by the owners this year, and the fans were disappointed to learn that he would not be able to play in his first match.

Despite all odds, the player returned to his team and began training earlier than expected on Wednesday. Yadav took part in training with his teammates on Wednesday, and the Mumbai Indians tweeted a photo of him with the caption “Training day #1 of the new season for SKY.” Fans were overjoyed to hear the news of his return.

The Mumbai Indians will meet the Rajasthan Royals on Saturday, and Yadav is ready to play in his team’s second match. Yadav’s absence was noticeable in the first match against the Delhi Capitals, as the middle order batsman failed to put a solid score on the board and ultimately lost.

What difference will Yadav make for Mumbai Indians will be interesting to watch. This batsman has been with MI since 2018, but prior to that he played for KKR for four years. Mumbai Indians retained him for 8 Cr this year, and fans are eager to see how he performs on the field after his return.
