Gullak Seasons 1 and 2 introduced us to the Mishra family and showed us some of the funny and heartbreaking times in their lives. The third season focuses on the challenges faced by upper-caste and middle-class Indian families, including patriarchal expectations at home and in society at large. Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai, the first people to launch a rocket, is depicted in Rocket Boys, a web series that has received widespread critical acclaim and has found a devoted audience among Indian viewers. It was these famous forefathers of India’s space programme who laid the groundwork for the country’s first rocket. The young engineer played by Jim Sarbh is fantastic. Manali is a stunning location, but the TV show itself doesn’t feature very many breathtaking vistas. The story centres on a powerful family trying to cover up their wrongdoings, but the time has come for them to face the consequences of their actions.
