The Most Awaited Nine Biggest Comic Superhero Movies Of 2023

New Year has come with many new superhero movies, and the question is who will become the champion of comic book cinema in future. Let us take a look at the upcoming comic movies in 2023.

In the list of 2023, we have got many new superhero movies like “Blue Beetle,” “The Flash,” “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3” and a new animated “Spider-verse.” Let us take a look at some of the biggest upcoming superhero movies.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (17 Feb)

In Marvel Cinematic Universe, where humor is the key ingredient, Ant-Man is the funniest franchise. Ant-Man and the Wasp explores the Quantum Realm, gets interacted with many new strange creatures embarking on adventure.

Shazam: Fury of Gods (17 March)

In the movie, we see Azher Angel as Billy Batson. Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu plays the role of the furious goddesses Hespera and Kalypso.  The goddesses are not at all pleased with Billy and his siblings having super powers. Billy on saying the word ‘Shazam’ is struck by lightning, and gets transformed into an adult with superpowers. The superhero role is played by Zachary Levi.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 (5 May)

Gunn, the Kevin Fiege of DC studios got the big chair in DC studios with his pop music-infused “Guardians of Galaxy.” Setting apart the future Avengers movies, it might be the last we are seeing the characters such as  Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) and Groot (Vin Diesel) in the MCU. Gunn has given a clue that a major character will die in “Vol.3”

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse: (2 June)

The Spider-verse is the number one solo spider franchise of Sony. The highly anticipated sequel of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is sure to be a great entertainment. Hailee Steinfeld  (Spider Gwen) is also back.

The Flash (16 June)

Produced by Warner Bros, ‘The Flash’ is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC comics. The director of the film is Andres Muschietti.  The ‘Flash’ travels through time to protect his mother from being killed but ends up creating a multiverse.

The Marvels(28 July)

The sequel to “Captain Marvel” is first of its type to feature a superheroine in the lead role. A sort of mini-Avengers movie, it connects two MCU Disney Plus series.

Blue Beetle (18 Aug)

This DC movie stars Xolo Mariduena as Jamie Reyes. He discovers a blue scarab which converts him into an alien like bug.

Kraven the Hunter (6 Oct)

Sony is trying to turn Spider-Man villains into viable movie franchises. “Kraven Hunter,” starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the lead role is another attempt by Sony in the line.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (25 Dec)

Aquaman and Lost Kingdom, the sequel to Aquaman (2018) directed by James Wan is expected to be released on 25 Dec, following many delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The screen play is written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick.
